The Nauplion Art Gallery

The Nafplion art gallery, the first gallery purely for art in the whole of the Peloponnesus, was founded in 1987 as a result of the efforts of Maria Gouma. In the almost 20 years that it has been in operation, it has hosted individual and group showings, of art, sculpture, ceramics and photography. Also, since the first year of operation, there have been workshops for children and musical events. The Art Gallery also has a small shop with artworks for sale, as well as important photographic archive material. It also produces ATNA publications. The cultural contribution of the Nafplion Art Gallery has been enormous as it has kept, and continues to keep, the public of the region in touch with the artistic trends of Greece and Europe.
